About me

Just doing me, no one else.

Hi! I’m Ash Cline from Henderson, NV. It’s in the same valley as Las Vegas and is (lovingly?) called Hendertucky. I live with my babies: Sammy, Cassie, and Emma.

I spent most of my school years dancing competitively at various studios around the valley. Though I performed in tap, jazz, acro(batics), and modern dance routines, ballet and lyrical were my favorites. Probably because I was kinda good at those types of dancing. I went to a local performing arts middle school and high school until I transferred to a regular, boring, normal school between my sophomore and junior years.

I taught high school in Clark County School District for 9 years before quitting. I’m currently in the process of finishing my Masters Psychology as well as writing a memoir (we’ll see how that goes) and maybe a novel (which has also been a bit of a crapshoot).

In order to avoid talking to people from my past (I never claimed not to be a scaredy cat), I intend to use pseudonyms and blur identifying details. I want to share my lived experience as an aromantic asexual. To do that, I’m going to get terribly personal. It’s going to be scary and embarrassing and too intimate. Regardless, I feel like if I don’t tell it, it’s going to burst out of me anyway.
